Why Add Sunday to Your Taos Visit?

Along with what might be all kinds of different reasons for different folks, Sunday will be a full moon night. That depends on the weather to a degree (it'll always be full somewhere). In Taos Ski Valley, they do a hike to Williams Lake starting at 7 PM of full moon nights.

This is a moderate 2.5 mile hike each way. It will be dark in portions of the walk so please bring a head lamp or flash light. All hikers please bring water, warm clothing, and adequate footwear. Remember, you're hiking at 9,000 foot plus, it's fall, it may well be COLD.

This walk is NOT on the Chamber list but it is happening. If you want to look at their site - http://www.taosskivalley.com/. You'll also find their number and other data. The colors in the valley are astounding. Plan to spend part of the day there too!

Pay 3, the 4th is FREE when you stay at Indian Hills Inn, Taos Plaza and book direct. That special is NOT available when you book online at any website. Hotel information at www.newmex.com/indianhillsinn or by calling toll free 800-444-2346. Thanks for your reservations, business, and referrals. We know you have many choices of lodging and appreciate your choosing us! Enjoy the hike!
