Since a great number of our readers are winter snow sports enthusiasts, here's a somewhat odd post. Let's talk about an Albuquerque event, not a Taos specific activity.
Hello skiers. For those in the Albuquerque area, one of the best annual ski sales is this weekend. Sport Systems is doing their annual Avalanche Sale. Reps from many ski areas will be there, package deals (some of the best anywhere), tons of freebees, some shows, more.

The next big ski show will be SnowShow combined with Sandia Ski Patrol's used equipment sale later in the fall. We'll be there.
