It's that time of year again, fall. Brings us to the point at which we turn off the pool solar collectors, drain it about a foot, drain the lines, and cover to keep the leaves, dust, and debris out. Pool use had diminished to hasn't been used since mid September anyway, so must be time.
During our pool off season, it you find it necessary to splash around a bit, the town of Taos has a indoor pool that is open year round and can be used relatively inexpensively. Hours vary sometimes so here's a link to their website - http://www.taosyouth.com/. They also have indoor skating, winter ice hockey, and other youth recreation activities.
Taos also offers two fitness centers, both with indoor swimming pools. For a round $10-12 a day, visitors can enjoy varied exercise and the pools. Both are located about equal distance from Indian Hills Inn, just ask at the front desk for directions. South is Taos Spa at $12 day use - http://taosspa.com/. North of us is Northside at $8 day use - http://www.taosnorthsidespa.com/.
