Amazing free lectures at SMU Taos continue through numerous and wide ranging topic areas. Topics range from Davey Crockett to Millicent Rogers to Archaeology to Solar System Science to Art Shows and more. All lectures and shows are held at the Fort Burgwin Campus just South of Ranchos de Taos along Pot Creek. More details and a printable schedule at: http://sme.edu/taos/events.asp.
Starting Thursday, May 27, 2010, Taos Plaza Live returns with weekly Thursday evening free concerts on Taos Plaza. All shows start at 6 PM. Most shows have two different performers, one at 6 the second at 7 PM. http://www.taosplazalive.com/.
The earlier post about Return to Sacred Places activities was growing too long so I halted mid schedule. Here's the link to the official web site - http://www.taossacredplaces.com/. All those sites offer a printable schedule.
Perhaps you'd prefer to simply move to Taos for the summer? There is much to see and do. A day or two probably won't get the job done nor satiate your Taos taste buds. In order to help that idea along, I'll offer you a direct booking blog/social networking special. This special is only available when you email the Inn and mention this posting. We'll do weeklies for 1 or 2 Guests for $385 a week. Compare that with the Taos average summer rate of well over $90 a night. Make it a month for $1155. Both are prepaid rates, are plus tax, not valid with other specials. May I remind you that Indian Hills Inn, Taos Plaza is your home away from home while in Taos.
