Taos Area Summary Snow Report 03/25/10

Looks like this storm has past and another one on the way for the weekend!  This has been simply an amazing spring for fresh snow all around the Enchanted Circle.

Angel Fire claims 4" last 24 hours with a 9" total from storm
Taos reports 3" and a total of 10" last 3 days
Sipapu gained only a trace plus the 3" yesterday

Seems I stirred up a hornets nest with one acquaintance on Facebook.  He wants to argue about my link to the Sharpton statement about Obama and Socialism.  If you missed the video, here it is: http://talkabouttaostourism.blogspot.com/2010/03/believe-it-of-not-al-sharpton-on-obama.html

Learned yesterday the Los Rios River Rafting is already scheduling trips on the Rio Grande.  Fortunately, they supply wet suits (I' may prefer a dry suit at this time).  Ask at our front desk for details and numbers to book your trip from now until the river transforms into a dust bowl (late summer).

It's also a good time to bring your mountain bike for some of our low area rides.  At the 7,000 foot level, the snow is almost all gone already.  Yeh spring!

Hope we see you soon.  Late season super special rates apply to all direct bookings.  I don't think you'll find better prices than by calling us direct.  Value rooms from $39 single, family rooms from $49, and deluxe kings from $59.  Great location, Awesome service, Best sleep in Taos, and Affordable.  That's Indian Hills Inn, Taos Plaza.
