SOMOS, Society of the Muse of the Southwest, is a local charitable organization that encourages writers of all sorts of material from poetry to books and everything in between. They have an extensive list of programs for January and February (along with the rest of the year). They are tenants in our retail shops at Indian Hills Inn, Taos Plaza. I encourage you to attend any of their presentations and support their efforts at encouraging folks to develope their writing skills and abilities.
