Post Election Stress Disorder Assauged in Taos!

For those tired of electioneering and advertising, those terribly disappointed in the results, and those hyped beyond belief with the results, and everyone else, November is a great time to visit Taos.  Generally cooler nights and pleasant days greet you in the high mountain plains of North central New Mexico.  Great hiking and biking weather in and around the Taos area, Enchanted Circle, and nearby areas and towns.

Looking for a charitably activity to support for this upcoming Christmas season?  For 25 years the Taos Feeds Taos project has been helping needy Taos County families.  Ton's of non perishable foods are collected each year at local schools and businesses.  As much as %50,000 in cash donations will be collected to purchase foods from local stores.  Coming to Taos between now and December 24, 2010  Stay with Indian Hills Inn, Taos Plaza and we'll discount your hotel lodging by $1 for each canned food item you donate upon arrival and check in.  Doesn't matter whether you ve buying our multi night discounted special or a single night, bring 5 cans, we'll knock $5 off, bring 10 cans, we'll knock $10 off.  If you aren't visiting before the holiday season and still want to help, go to - www.TaosFeedsTaos.org to donate online.  Thanks in advance for your generous support!

Planning a visit during the Thanksgiving weekend?  You'll be able to enjoy the 28th Annual Taos Yuletide Arts & Crafts Fair held at Don Dernando Hall.  All items for sale are domestically made, many are locally made, hand crafted.  Ask for details and driections at the desk when you arrive.  Anual Thanksgiving Hockey Tournament also occurs at the Family & Youth Center.  Call Brian Greer for details 575-758-4160.
