Winter so far in Taos has ben mostly in the high 40's and low 50's temp wise. If you visit to ski, hike, or bike, bring sunscreen! If you're here to wander the historic and cultural places, layer your clothing. Nights are chilly but days have been very nice! We are low on snow but the skiers have been reporting mucho fun anyway. Looks like another storm later this week. May I ask, pray for snow, dance for snow, do whatever it takes to encourage a major dump!

A great list of things to see and do while in Taos is the Taos News Tempo Que Pasa calendar. For example, today you can enjoy the open mic at the ADobe Bar, movies at TCA, Jimmy Stadler at Sagebrush, Carnival of Sound at Alley Cantina. That's just the nightlife! You'll also find dozens of galleries with great art experiences, museums with much history, culture, and education. And don't forget NM's only smoke free casino at Taos Mountain Casino on Taos Pueblo.
